Description

View of the National Monument in Mars-la-Tour, inaugurated on November 2, 1875, with a statue on a pedestal and a crypt containing the remains of soldiers exhumed in 1876. The reverse features a handwritten correspondence addressed to Mr. Delestre and Petit in Paris, dated April 13, with a signature 'Henri' and the inscription 'Je t'embrasse'.
