View of the ancient temple La Maison Carrée in Nîmes, with two horse-drawn carriages in front of the building. The reverse bears a handwritten letter addressed to Madame Marie Otatarii in Marseille, dated 10 April 1901, with a 10-centime postage stamp and a postmark from Nîmes. The publisher R. & J. D. is indicated at the bottom of the front.
