Interior view of the Catholic Chapel of Douaumont, with its rows of wooden chairs, stone pillars, and major granite altar donated through subscription. The printed text on the back specifies that the altar was donated by the DRAC and the PAC in memory of the 250 priests who fell at Verdun, and that the stained glass windows were composed by G. Desvallières and executed by J. Hebert. The postmark is a circular stamp 'OSSUAIRE DE DOUAUMONT (Meuse)'.
