View of Montpellier Prefecture, an imposing building with an ornate balcony and palm trees in front of a metal gate. Printed text at the bottom: '212. - MONTPELLIER (Hérault). — The Prefecture.' The reverse has a handwritten letter dated 12/9/30, addressed to 'Dear Mother,' mentioning a visit to Quissac and a wonderful day at Tamariscière, with the publisher 'Edition d'Art Ansaldo-Dique' and the postmark 'POSTCARD.'
