View of an ancient medieval palace in Provins, covered in ivy, with a staircase and a large stone vase. Printed text mentions that this is the remains of the Pinacle where one of the mayors, Guillaume Pentecôte, was massacred during a popular uprising in 1280. Reverse: 30 centimes postage stamp, postmark 'PROVINS', address to 'Madame Veuve Deucroux' in Courroux, Saint-Quentin, and handwritten message 'Bons Souvenirs'.
