Description

View of the Gothic façade of Saint-Gatien Cathedral in Tours, with its two towers and ornate portal. The reverse features an imprinted inscription mentioning the start (1170) and completion (1547) dates of the construction, as well as the publisher J. Mertichon. Handwritten text is also visible, addressed to 'Mme de France'.
