View of the Castle of Montségur on a rocky summit at 1307 meters, with terraced fields and yellow flowers in the foreground. The reverse indicates that the castle was the last stronghold of the Cathar religion, destroyed in 1244, and features a handwritten address to H. Varlet in Paris, as well as a French postage stamp of 25 centimes canceled.
