Aerial view of the Cathar castle of Montségur, the last bastion of Cathar resistance, overlooking a village nestled in a hilly landscape. The reverse has handwritten text dated 25/04/42, addressed to a Madame, with a French postmark from 1942 and a Paris cancellation.
