Postcard illustrating the Pont du Gard, a 269-meter-long and 48-meter-high Roman aqueduct, built before the Christian era on the order of Agrippa to bring water from the surroundings of Uzès to Nîmes. The reverse features handwritten correspondence dated July 3, 1950, sent by someone from the region, and mentions the publisher 'Éditions Magenta, rue Magenta, 83'.
