Description

Picturesque view of a dam on the River Erich in Blairgowrie, Perthshire, with stone houses and a church in the background. On the reverse, a postcard sent to 'Mère Manny' by François Xavier, with a handwritten letter describing the two weeks spent in Scotland and the weather conditions. The 180 pence stamp is affixed at the top right, and the publisher 'J. Arthur Dixon Ltd' is visible at the bottom left.
