Description

Postcard illustrating the steamer Bonnington, launched in 1911 for postal service on Arrow, Kootenay, and Okanagan lakes, operated by the CPR until 1931 and then by the government of British Columbia until 1942. The reverse details its history in English and French, with a mention of its dismantling in 1946. The handwritten address indicates a mailing to Montreal, Quebec.
