Description

Postcard depicting the stern-wheel steamship Bonnington, launched in 1911 by the CPR and used for mail on Arrow, Kootenay, and Okanagan lakes until 1931, then transferred to the B.C. government in 1942 and demolished in 1946. The reverse shows correspondence sent from St Stephen (New Brunswick) to Ottawa (Ontario) in 1984, with a Canada 32 stamp and a postal cancellation D.V.A. - M.A.A.C. RECEIVED - REÇU.
