Description

Postcard illustrating the S.S. Aranduan, the first steamship of the Royal Mail Steamers, launched in July 1854 and put into service in May 1856 before wrecking in 1857. The reverse mentions the publisher Canada Post and indicates that the ship made four voyages on the Saint-Laurent. The handwritten address is intended for Crest Offer in Thornhill, Ontario.
