Description

Black and white view of the Ducal Square in Charleville, with the statue of Charles de Gonzague in the center, surrounded by slate-roofed buildings and a few period vehicles. On the reverse, handwritten address sends the card to Mlle Georgette Manfront in Josy-les-Maulneaux, with a French postage stamp from 1939 and a postmark from Charleville-Mézières dated April 10, 1939.
