Description

Illustration of the cloister of the Douaumont ossuary, with cells for the tombs of Verdun soldiers. The printed text explains that stones for the pillars are offered at 200 francs and others at 500 francs to engrave the names of heroes. The reverse indicates that the view side must not contain any inscription and is reserved for correspondence and address.
