Description

Interior of the commemorative church in Mars-la-Tour, restored in 1896 according to the plans of M. Louis Lanternier, architect in Nancy. The remarkable military stained glass windows are the work of M. Emmanuel Champigneulle, glass painter in Bar-le-Duc. The white marble tables with engraved names list the soldiers who died on August 16 and 18, 1870. Reverse: postcard with informational text about correspondence on the front, partially visible postmark and cancellation.
