Description

National monument dedicated to French soldiers who died for the fatherland, work of the artist Bogino, inaugurated on November 2, 1875. The pedestal houses a crypt containing numerous bones. The postcard bears a green 5-centime stamp and a cancellation from VIGANAC 1903. Reverse: handwritten address to Mr. and Mrs. Roguin in Bray, Seine-et-Marne, with a 20-centime stamp and a postmark.
