Description

View of the tower of the Montlhéry Castle, an ancient fortified keep built in 999 by Thibault File-Etoupes and dismantled in 1391, with a height of 32 meters and 132 steps. The reverse side features a handwritten letter addressed to Madame Suzanne Taussels in Souligny, with a 10-cent postage stamp and a postmark from Calvados dated May 25, 1915.
