Description

Illustration of the Montlhéry Castle, built in the 11th century by Thibault, nicknamed Filetoupes, with five enclosures and three terraces. The castle was a hideout for bandits, including Guy-Trounelle. Reverse: obliterated stamp 'Souvenir of my Excursion to Montlhéry Castle' and stamp 'MUSÉES DU CHÂTEAU DE MONTLHÉRY'.
