View of the medieval tower and ruins of a castle in Montlhéry, dating from 891 to 1315 and demolished in 1891. The reverse side features a handwritten inscription 'Bon souvenir' addressed to Mr. and Mrs. Daujan in Paris, as well as the publisher's stamp Robert Rameau.
