Description

Colored view of Château d'Urquhart, imposing ruins on the shores of Loch Ness, with cows grazing on a meadow in the foreground. The reverse indicates that the castle was built by Edward I on the foundations of an older castle. The publisher is 'Valentine's Pictorial Series' and the card bears a 2d stamp from the 'Scots Pictorial Series' canceled on 18-8-58.
