The reverse has handwritten text dated June 30, 1965, addressed to Mrs. Mirand in Paris, with a 4 pence stamp of Queen Elizabeth II canceled in Brighton, Sussex, on July 2, 1965. The printed text mentions that the cathedral was built between 1668 and 1876 and that the garden was added in 1962.
