View of the Wallace Monument in Stirling, published by Valentin & Sons Ltd., with printed text indicating its foundation on 24 June 1861 and its opening on 11 September 1869. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated 4 July 1967 sent from Dundee to France, with three stamps (two 1d and one 2d) and a cancellation 'SCOTS POSTAL STIRLING 4 JUNE 1967'.
