On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated June 8, 1970, sent from Chester to Paris, mentioning appreciation of the city and cathedral, as well as a yellow 1970 stamp and a cancellation mark 'Chester' with the stamp 'Wales in Bloom Contest'.
