Description

Illustrated postcard showing the steamer Bonnington, launched in 1911 by the CPR for postal service on Kootenay, Arrow, and Okanagan lakes, transferred to the British Columbia government in 1931 and demolished in 1946. Bilingual text in English and French on the reverse. Canada stamp 32 with Ottawa postmark 13 January 1984. Handwritten address to Ottawa and Oromocto, New Brunswick.
