Description

Illustrated postcard depicting the steamship Bonnington, launched in 1911 by the CPR for postal service on the rivers and lakes of British Columbia, transferred to the provincial government in 1942 and demolished in 1946. The reverse details its history in French and English, with a mention of its use on Kootenay, Arrow, and Okanagan lakes. The handwritten address indicates a recipient in Quebec.
