View of the Castle of Montségur at dusk, with a colorful sky and mountains in the background. The reverse features printed text describing the castle as « a true eagle's nest » and mentioning the Albigensian War. A 25-centime stamp « Pont de Pont-Saint-Esprit » is affixed, with a cancellation from « ASNIÈRES-LES-ALPES » dated July 11, 1966. The handwritten address is intended for Mrs. Glachet in Toulouse.
